I enjoyed 1 night there. It was a great value hotel, nesteled in a traditional building. The location was perfect and wonderful, the staff was affable! Restaurant Cafe des Artistes located 1 km away was a nice surprise.
Well, no garden.

The hotel provided good prices. The property was an incredible base for enjoying a nice quiet area, very close to the city center, well maintained garden and the centre / shops / bars / restaurants. Our room was good-sized and had 2 single beds or 1 double bed. The location was absolutely perfect and excellent for walking around Museum Puri Lukisan.

Fabulous base for exploring Ubud. Great value place with DELIGHTFUL views of river. Absolutely perfect and wonderful location to Ubud Market. And very close to a fantastic garden as well as monkey forest road were all the good restaurants are. Proactive, competent people working here.

My stay at this charming retreat was a true immersion in Balinese culture. Surrounded by lush greenery, I could relax by the pool and enjoy the symphony of frogs nearby. The helpful staff made my experience even better, with their attentive service and willingness to assist with my bags. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the bustling market and the peaceful reception area nestled in the forest.
The breakfast menu could have been improved with more options to satisfy all guests' preferences.

Location was excellent, very peaceful, and relaxing in villas placed amongst wonderful terraced gardens, former rice terraces, yet a few minutes walk from the centre of Ubud and from cafes and shops and the rural countryside,
bed linen could be improved poor quality and somewhat grey in colour, staff very cheerful greeting each other with much laughter and loud chatter which is fine but not at 6.30am in the morning

It offers excellent value for money. We expected a backpacker standard of luxury. What we encountered was definitely upmarket at budget prices. The rooms are comfortable and large, each a separate bungalow surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Hot water is abundant. Rice fields provide an attractive scenic backdrop. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Ubud, but a footbridge provides quick easy access to Monkey Forest Road. The traditional Balinese architecture adds to the appeal of Nick's Pension. The staff are helpful and friendly.

The hotel is nestled amongst tropical gardens, with a rice paddy in the middle of the complex. The location in downtown Ubud allows for easy exploration on foot. The rooms have a large patio ahead of the structure, offering a beautiful view. The breakfast, which includes delicious scrambled eggs, is included in the price.
No complaints, everything was wonderful.

The hotel is situated in a great location, very close to the city center but still providing a peaceful atmosphere. The gardens and surroundings are lush and create a tropical feel. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom is basic and could use some updating.

I loved the staff. They seemed a little cool at first, but then the quality of tourists has definitely degenerated since my earliest travels. People are so unfriendly to them, even downright rude, particularly certain nationalities, and as the staff put it, "some smiles are expensive". So well put. You could say good morning to some guests in the restaurant, or by the pool, and they would act as if you just say I hope your father dies today! They are without exception, terrific staff doing their best, and very kind and loving as well.
Well, get me started! Firstly the pillows are shocking...had to get my friend who lives here to loan me one. All the sheets are greyish, looks like they need replacing or boiling, and the bottom sheet doesn't fit properly! Grrr....The towels mostly need replacing, especially the blue ones, or again, boiling. The curtains are completely flimsy, so no sleep if you like the dark. The top level of rooms are okay, but I spoke with other guests who are in the bottom layer, and went into one, and the smell of mould is shocking...they are right by a river course and get no real sun. My first room had a foam mattress...yuk...hardly bearable, though 307 had regular ones. A friend sat on one and said it was like a board. I prefer hard ones.
